Future prospects include muck spreading. Current legislation states that your muck heap must be removed, but if your muck heap can be used as a fertillizer source it can be kept and spread within you own establishment within a certain time frame. ECS are looking to puchase an efficient muck spreader to offer all local establishments this service.

Chris has spearheaded the changes we have made at Penmillard to ensure the survival of the farm. He has an agricultural background working within the dairy industry before going to Seale Hayne to complete an Agricultural qualification. He has since been able to head up lettuce manufacture within a large organisation after being headhunted from a smaller organic enterprise.

He has been driving tractors forever and easily overcombes any obstacles in his way with knowledge and foresight..
